No matter what type of business you are in or what type of marketing you are doing, Copy Writing is critical to success!
“Copy Writing is salesmanship in print.”
That’s one of my favorite lines from this interview with David Garfinkel done by Ann Sieg.

What is Copy Writing?
That’s a good question. NO, I’m not referring to protecting your material so other people have to pay you a royalty to use it – that’s ‘copyright’ law.
As I said, “Salesmanship in print” is a good way to think about it. It’s inviting people to take an action that you want them to take. It is guiding someone through a thought process.
It’s all of those things and many other examples. We’ve all seen examples of GOOD Copywriting and BAD Copywriting. The good stuff touches us emotionally and gets us excited to take action!
Bad copywriting is either ineffective, we don’t read long enough to care, or it has an effect that is the opposite of the intent … usually it offends or angers.
Good Copy Writing
I’m looking forward to the good stuff from The Ultimate Copywriting Crash Course.
