Today I want to share with you a tool I use to stay organized as a real estate agent and as a business owner. Evernote isn’t a new application, but it’s one I’ve come to depend on greatly in the last year. Initially, I used it as a place to drop my notes that I had sitting around on my desk, or to capture ideas from my whiteboard. I mainly used it for note taking.
Since then, I have expanded my use of Evernote to a lot more areas of my business. I use it for capturing things I see on websites that I want to implement in my business, references, and more. I recently upgraded to the premium version, which is pretty low-cost, and it’s been my go-to application ever since. It’s how I get organized, stay organized, and the search function for finding obscure notes and references is incredibly accurate. I hate losing things, and this really solved the problem for me. It allowed me to discontinue using a few other tools as well.
We use Evernote in our office, in the field with clients, and between our agents. It’s extremely valuable to us, and I encourage you to try it out if you’re having trouble staying organized or keeping track of details. You can download Evernote here, and there’s a free version for starters. If that works well for you, the premium version has some great additional features as well.
If you have any questions for us, or any clients that are coming to Northern Virginia, let us know. We would love to help you take care of them, and will make sure you get paid your referral fee. We look forward to hearing from you!
